The Live In Raleigh Photo Blog Is Now Live

Live In Raleigh Photo Blog

Okay so I am really excited that the Live In Raleigh Photo Blog is now live!  Thanks to my great technology partners at Dakno the photo blog is going to be a great way to share all the great images I come across on my Raleigh and the Triangle adventures.  Keep in mind that many of the shots will be from my camera phone so quality will not always be up to par with say the shots we have taken when listing a house.

Everyone loves photos as they truly bring to life what is being talked about.  So now when I am at Heritage Wake Forest talking about the awesome amenities including the pool I can follow it up with a photo from that very moment.  Or when I am doing an open house at one of my great listings in Avalon Springs I can give you a quick sneak peak of the exact house I am sitting in!  I love writing my blogs and sharing some news, happenings, fun, events, insight, etc on Raleigh and the Triangle but the photo blog allows me to give my words some life!

So I hope you enjoy my Live In Raleigh photo blog as be sure to check back often as I try to bring you all that Raleigh and the Triangle has to offer – through my eyes!

Location, Location, Location – For Weekend Getaways!

The local location of your actual house is very important but the location of your city regards to weekend travel is also very important.  It was one of the major draws when I came down here for college and it continues to be a major positive for my family today!  Well lets put yet another feather in Raleigh’s cap because anywhere from 2 to 5 hours driving time away are amazing weekend getaway spots!

How about a trip to the great North Carolina beaches in the summer?  2-3 hours  away!  Maybe you and the family want to catch a Panthers game in the fall?  2.5 hours away!  Or you love to ski and have to hit the slopes in the winter?  3-4 hours away!  Lastly you decide that the Spring would be the perfect time to visit the nation’s capital and check out all the monuments?  4 hours away!  Whatever activity you desire in all seasons, Raleigh and the Triangle has so many fun weekend getaway spots that you need to make sure you leave time to still enjoy all the local events as well!

To see a list of some popular driving distances from Raleigh click here.  You can also visit my website to see some specific recommendations on places you should put on your list of must places to visit!

Come Out To The Fuquay Varina Celebration of the Arts festival Saturday June 6

Come Out To The Fuquay Varina Celebration of the Arts festival Saturday June 6

So what are you doing Saturday?  Well if you don’t have plans come see me at the Celebration of the Arts festival in downtown Fuquay Varina from 10am to 4pm.  Fuquay Varina is celebrating its 100th anniversary so there will be fun, music and games for the entire family.  Fuquay Varina is home to my Avalon Springs new home neighborhood by Homes By Dickerson so the Avalon Springs team will have a table at the festival on Saturday.  The event will not only be a fun event for the entire family but a good opportunity to learn more about Avalon Springs, available inventory homes and building opportunities.

Festivals like these are what make a local community truly a community as that is one of the major positives to a town like Fuquay Varina.  You get the sense of communities of yesteryears but are close to all the modern amenities and culture of downtown Raleigh only 20 minutes away!  I hope to see you Saturday as stop on by and let us know you found us through my blog.
